I have bought several items from here and the quality is outstanding! It is hard to find good quality products nowadays and these are by far the best I have found.
I've been drooling over these mugs for awhile, and finally sprung for one of the ones on sale due to a (barely noticeable) chip near the bottom. It's even more beautiful in person and I will treasure it for years to come.
I bought a glazed mug, and it is gorgeous. It was shipped very securely and arrived timely. I know her items sell out very fast, but I'm hoping to get a skull mug someday. They are absolutely my aestheric.

I am also a potter but I love collecting other people's pottery - Giselle's mugs are by far my favorite! They are so well weighted, and they've held up to two toddlers handling it and the bumps that come along with that. Her glaze work is next level, smooth, and shiny. Giselle is responsive and cares so much about the art she's putting out into the world.
I bought three mugs from this shop. Two are still lovely. One had a defect (a weak point where the straight-in handle meets the mug) that wasn't immediately visible. When I contacted the maker initially, she suggested I glue it, so I tried that but it cracked shortly after, within a year of normal use, resulting in hot tea and mug shards all over my floor. I wrote to the maker again to ask for a refund, and was given the runaround, but eventually a partial refund and an "I'm sorry you misunderstood" non-apology. She then made a petty, passive-aggressive, public post to her facebook about it. Unprofessional, and unnecessary. I guess guilty people need to create a narrative to assuage their guilt instead of taking responsibility for their products? Disappointing all around. The mugs are pretty, but they're apparently supposed to be temporary/disposable (my misunderstanding!), so only buy them if you can afford to replace every 8ish months or so... I don't recommend these.
Katie, i had offered a partial refund when you first contacted me, even though it was 8 months after the purchase and offered a solution you had at your disposal as a non-ceramicist since you wanted to try to fix it yourself and not part with it. My 'sorry you misunderstood' was in reference to the solution options i provided, because you stated it was unreasonable that I asked you to fix it when that was not the case as i stated. I did not ask that of you. Glue is not a permanent fix and definitely mentioned that a crack on the top handle would put a lot of stress so to not hold it from it regardless. I offered partial refund yet again when you contacted me at 10 months and you still wouldnt take it. Only after i added the credit to your account, for a mug replacement, you purchase something else non-pottery related (which i am going to honor). I provided images and videos for the pot in question while it was in my possession, you state its visible then, so i provided still shots as well to show that it does not. My post on fb was directed for all current and future costumers to point out shop policies and what they should do when their ware arrives. I do qc & tests before shipping including submerging in boiling water to ensure vitrification, and holding mug by the handle with a full load of boiled water. High fired pottery does not just fall apart. Anything could have happened during shipping, so many variables at play and why I pay for extra insurance and ask that the customer reaches out right away.
I love the snake mug I got! The craftsmanship is incredible and the thoughtfulness of packaging was amazing! It arrived quickly and safely. The color combination was perfection!
I could not be happier with this entire order! From the actual item to the packaging & the handwritten note, this shop owner knows what she’s doing!!! I will absolutely be ordering more!!!

Ordered blooming skulls and Unicorn farts and I couldn't be happier! They were packaged so well, I could have probably thrown them around and they would have been fine lol. My mug arrived, it was so carefully wrapped as not to be damaged during shipping, as soon as I saw it I warned everyone in my house that they are not allowed to look at it, let alone touch it 😅! It's beautiful and I'm enjoying my coffee more each morning because of it.
I bought the blue skull mug, and fell in love the second I opened it! The mug is thick enough to feel like I won't break it when I touch it, but also not so thick that it's ridiculously heavy. The handle is perfect for my hands and my husband's hands, and the drinking edge feels right when we drink out of it. It really makes my coffee experience every morning a 10/10! The skulls are perfect, the colors are perfect, and the mug is perfect! Will continue buying more in the future, as this is by far, my most favorite mug! Worth every penny!
I placed an order for a feline honey mead mug in May. The mug arrived within the promised time frame, and was very well packaged. I especially appreciated the little hand written note and stickers inside. What a nice touch! The mug itself is simply stunning! I love it even more than I thought I would. I love the mugs I have purchased from Twisted Myst because they are gorgeous, have a nice weight to them without making them feel heavy, they are well made, and very detailed. I love drinking from my mugs because they keep my beverages warm or cold. I refuse to let others use them because they are my favorite mugs.
